Kicking some Muay Tai ass!!
Every weekend our social manager, Vishal sorts us out an activity. They always vary from visiting different places to treks and some Thai style fun. This weekend he organised a trek to the crystal caves and Muay Tai training for afterwards.
I skipped the trek but definitely wanted to get involved in the training.
We arrived at the gym and was greeted by two professional Muay Tai fighters, one French and one Thai. Put it this way, wouldn't wanna piss them off they were completely muscle bound without being very bulky... Does that make sense??
First we started off with some warm up moves (which didn't help my hangover) and then we moved into the ring. I don't think I have ever laughed so hard!!
We each took it in turns punching, kicking and elbowing?? Yes that's one of the moves and I'm sure when they do it, it hurts but I just looked like I was performing one of the dance moves from the Inbetweeners movie!!
We finished off with floor work which killed me but after we had finished fighting, doing push ups and sweating the hangover was replaced with tiredness!
Awesome day and can't wait to go again!!
