These are a few of my favourite things...

Feeling a little guilty as I haven't really said much about work and the kids, it's the main reason I'm here do I should really introduce you!!!

The first picture is Mutmin, he's 5 and he's my Thai, baby version of mr Jacob Price lol. He is the funniest, sweetest, cheekiest lad ever and I absolutely adore him!! One thing I've noticed is all my 'faves' out of the kids resemble friends from England!! I don't care if your not supposed to have favourites lol it's only natural!!! Anyway back to Mutmin...he's naughty without being horrible and he's not a kiss ass like some of the others, he talks to everyone even though his history isn't great (history bit isnt in reference to jake haha)

Next pic is just one I took today on timer, Top, Fluck and Sunyah :) Top is the boy I'm stealing to come home(more about him later), Fluck is one of the lads, never does as he's told but he's slowly warming to me and Sunyah... There are no words lol she does what she wants, when she wants and how she wants, so smart and will always get her way, major soft spot for her!

Then we have Nong Nah, Im working on her, she's a crier when I first see her but once you settle her she's so much fun, her laugh is infectious and once she's happy, everyone's happy.

Now back to Top... Top is my mini, Thai Oli Le Maire, wanders around very quiet, he makes no attempt to get any attention and always seems shy... He's not, he constantly thinks and watches, he's like a mini sensai with all the wisdom in the world yet no one expects it. I'm on to him though and he fascinates me, although I secretly think he's plotting to kill me as every time I look at him he makes a gun with his hands, I think it's cos I won't leave him alone and made him dance the other day...Top doesn't dance :)

Now there is the divas! Hannah, Yuli, Manu and Cha, they rule the room, they are the first to dance, the first to tell the others off, the first to look after the younger ones and the first to attempt to give me evils if I tell them off... Basically they're girls :) they love to play with my hair and always like it when I have new nail varnish on, although they did my make up the other day... I will get them back.

The naughty ones or should I say 'spirited'?! This is Dawuud, Fallad, Nadia and Sunyah. They constantly keep me on my toes, always finding new ways to cause chaos and seriously test my patience, but honestly it would boring without them around and can't help but laugh when they cheek me when they are supposed to be asleep.

That's only a handful but I'm guessing you are bored now :) will show you more soon!!

Home sweet home

Ok, so 2 weeks yesterday I arrived home, cold, windswept and a mixture of excitable and miserable. I was heart broken to leave my Thai world, but so excited to see Mum, Dad, Don, Steve and the dog (of course!) I'm still waiting for the post Thailand blues to kick in, seeing the odd hint of them now and again, but luckily I have a team of love, silliness and hecticness (is that a word?) to keep my mind from wandering to that world of sun, fun and yummy foods. Seeing as it's only the 3rd of May it already feels like a lifetime ago that I was there, but it's not surprising seeing as I have been running around like a madwoman. There has been weddings to prepare for, people to see, hen nights to go to, football to support, coffee to drink, dogs racing to watch, tutu's to make, cakes to paint, boxes to stick, children to wind up and drinking games to be played. Last Friday Night!!...

Ok so last night... Well! We danced on table tops, took to many shots and think we kissed but I forgot! (reminded via Facebook next day should have been the next line in this song!) It was the final goodbye for all the community volunteers, all the schools and daycare centres are closed so we are all off home/travelling/meeting with loved ones. In usual Chang Bar style we danced, sang, drank horrific free shots and witnessed some living affairs between the community and conservation teams... ;) shocking behaviour! Was so much fun and I have come to the conclusion that we need to clone the Chang Bar staff and create international Chang Bars all over the world. They are absolute legends!! This isn't going to be a soppy post as the pictures don't really fit the soppy image haha but I love you guys and for the last time "we are from England, Canada, Denmark, Germany, holland, Italy, Switzerland... No not a very large family!" Who run the world!

Sun, Fake full moon parties and tattoos!!

This weekend we headed back to Phi Phi, we can't seem to get enough of the place!! We planned to do all the things we didn't do last time including the tsunami village and the view point. The others succeeded in attempting both but I gave up at the thought of it as both are a bit of a trek. Once again Phi Phi never failed to get us well and truly messy. We made our own full moon party with neon clothing and neon face paint, I managed to get it everywhere... Classy! It all soon washed off though as Thailand let rip one it's infamous rain storms and drenched all party goers on the beach. We didn't let the rain beat us, we just carried on dancing and singing... Mr Kelly would have been proud!! Friday, however wasn't the main event this weekend, no no no. Me and three of the girls decided we wanted a momento from Thailand which we would never forget or lose.
