So much for rehydration!...

Currently I am sat in a guest house in Krabi munching on Oreos and glancing now and again at pictures from last night... (see next post) this weekend has been one of tears, dancing, drunken behaviour and unreally sad goodbyes.

Tomorrow morning me and the lovely Cabio are running away to start our travelling in Malaysia. Admittedly I should be watching England beat Ireland or running around a bar with a pair of 4 leaf clovers drawn on my cheeks as its St Paddies day but... I got drunk last night and have a 6am start tomorrow! So! Early night for moi!

Friday was such a hard day, firstly I said goodbye to papa and mama, oh and the last remaining puppy, then I had to say goodbye to 28 of the most amazing kids.

Papa and me lost it and cried as the bus pulled away from the house, mama just looked at us like we were emotional idiots.

I then rocked up to school to attend one of the most emotional, nutty, silly, cuddly days ever!(think new years even with ya besties, drunk and full of emotionally vino charged love).

I got so many lovely presents including teddy bears, flowers, good luck charms, plus a booklet of photos and colouring which Pija and the kids did for me.

Spent most of the day dancing, playing and persuading each child to come back with me to England. Two of them accepted (Amani and Adin) but unfortunately Amani's mum said no... Adin's mum was quite happy for him to come (apparently he's crazy).... And?

Unfortunately the day had to end so I hugged my babbers tight, cried and made my way to the bus. Took a while mind, walkings not so easy with 50 kids trying to hold your hand...

If you are going to be volunteering at Nong Kok next term, it's the best place for kids and volunteers. Pija and Krumin are simply incredible women and the kids are nothing short of awesome. Love love love!!!
